EN-Develop your critical thinking

Have you ever been in a situation where you had to do something very important – like turn in a file, solve a technical problem, or answer a vital question – but you couldn’t think of a viable idea or had no idea how to do it? The answer is most certainly yes!

Every day, we are confronted with situations that need to be addressed in some way, but for which the answer is not automatic. It is then that we must be critical, that we must question ourselves and try other ways of thinking than those we are used to using, otherwise we would already have the solution! Depending on the problem or situation to be solved, the solution process will be more or less long, and the critical thinking process more or less complex.

In this module, we will start by defining the concept of critical thinking. Then we will analyze two main techniques for developing this skill, which we will link to the world of work in Part 3. We will conclude with a summary diagram and a self-assessment.
